Playlist: Winter '19 / '20
Anyone else agree that this time of year — the awkward period between the holidays and springtime — can be the most depressing time of all? The holiday season comes to an abrupt halt, the excitement of the new year begins to wear off, there are no major holidays on the near horizon to look forward to, and at least where we live in Colorado…winter is still a long way from ending.
This year’s winter playlist somewhat captures that sense of sadness, but also the quiet beauty, innate power, and sweet serenity that embody winter. Picture snow-covered rolling hills, frozen mountain lakes, and those perfect fluffy snowflakes that drift slowly on the breeze on a grey-sky day.
